Friendly and Professional

Choosing Old Town was a great decision. Our moving consultant Lisa, is very professional and great to work with. She came to our home, carefully reviewed everything to provide us with an accurate estimate, answered all of our questions, and even helped us when we needed to reschedule the move a couple of times. Provided support every step of the way. Tim and the moving crew were amazing, they were respectful, friendly and professional. They took care of our furniture as well as the house. They are very efficient and were done with the move before we knew it. Highly recommend them!

NO COMMINICATION

All I asked for was to speak to someone at the company. Nobody answers, nobody calls you back. I filed an official complaint about this to hopefully get someones attention and instead they complained that I was complaining. You would tjink I was asking for a free lunch or something. All I wanted was a phone call from someone, anyone, that works at the company.

Wow! Lionel and Alex were amazing! They moved my entire apartment in less than 3 hours. They were fast yet careful with my items. The reason for the 4 star review is because they were a few days late on my delivery, but I highly recommend this moving company! The office people were also very helpful. Triple the quoye

Hello folks,

This is George Schwartz, job # Z6769584

We moved on Wednesday 7/12/23 and the move itself went well, aside from a hole on the back of the leather couch, mover conveniently put the couch against the wall so was not noticed till the following day.

What I am horrified at was the charges.

When first speaking to Jason, In early May, I went through every room and was inventoried by phone and was quoted $3,644.41

On July 10, 2 days before the move, together with Lisa we inventoried by phone and updated the price to $6,580.65. Understandable. I was told that I had gone from 1/2 truck full was now full truck.

Never heard from Lisa again.

Driver of truck contacted me on 7/11 and scheduled pick up 7/12 by noon.

Truck arrived on time on Wednesday 7/12, and driver (Musa) did a quick walk through and proceeded to inform me that I had more than quoted and it would now by a truck full (according to Lisa I was already paying for a full truck) And the updated price was now $9,943.50

He had me over a barrel; no money no load up. I was shocked that this could happen, I was never told that the 'driver' would be making such grave changes upon arrival. Money was paid.

How did the price 'triple'?

I was as honest as possible with the inventory, I expected the same from your company. INTEGRITY

Very happy customer!!

I can not say enough good things about these guys. They called ahead of time to let me know when to expect them, they were on time and took great care of my furniture. One of the pieces has been in my family for over 100 years and I was concerned on moving it. They wrapped, double wrapped, and shrink wrapped the cupboard. Everything moved in excellent condition. They even helped me move existing furniture that wasn't involved in the move. I will definitely use these guys again if I ever have to move anything.

Very Impressed

We used Old Town Van lines twice in mid-February. They moved our 3-bedroom house, full of heavy and large furniture and also an entire shop full of industrial heavy machinery, tools, and supplies. They were both massive moves, taking all day, from morning to night but Wil land his crew handled them with professionalism and care. Thankful to have found a trusted moving company.

Can’t fault this service!

Absolutely spot on. Movers turned up exactly when they said they would, no messing about, all the contents of my house were loaded onto the truck in what felt like very little time. Very competitive costs as well. Much much cheaper than the other big companies. The guys treated my stuff with respect, They even apologized for breaking a lamp that was already broken, can’t argue with honesty like that. Thanks again guys!

Wow you guys are literally AMAZING!!

These guys are nothing short of amazing! They showed up 15 minutes early and waited until we were ready. They were fun to be around and did not complain even once despite our unpreparedness. They wrapped the breakables in bubble wrap and blankets. At our new home they helped us put everything exactly where we wanted it. They finished the job one hour early and offered to clear out our shed as the previous occupants left it full of junk.

Highly recommend!

Every aspect of my recent move with these movers were excellent. I spoke often with a guy over the phone to arrange the move and he was always very helpful, even when we realized we had more to add to the inventory at the last minute. The two gents who completed the move on the day, were quick to work and had the whole flat packed away promptly. They arrived soon after us at the new property, and reassembled the furniture quickly. All this for a more reasonable price than many other companies quoted.

Incredible Service!

They were incredible. Showed up early, masked. 3 men were very respectful and friendly. Moved me out of my apartment through a tiny elevator and into a storage unit. They were really easy to work with

They were really easy to work and flexible in terms of scheduling. The movers were courteous, careful and strong. Some movers aren't strong enough to lift the furniture so the drag it along the carpet. These guys were great! Thanks for the great work and pleasant move.

They showed up 20 minutes early which was great for us as we could finish earlier. Two guys moved a full 2 bed/2 bath full of boxes and furniture into the U-Haul and strategically placed everything so nothing was broken when we arrived at our destination.
